Well, it’s easy to say that being sick the past several days has disrupted my equilibrium; my Zen-like eating habits.
On the one had, I see the extra work required to eat in the good way that I’ve been eating, but I confess that the extra work can be tedious (such as preparing and showcasing my food in small dishes and preparing tea).
So, I missed a couple of Food Journal entries where I KNOW I didn’t eat ideally. So, let’s just say that I ended up eating a couple of packages of ramen, a couple of fish sandwiches from a fast food restaurant, and some healthy (but very starchy) chow mein with general tso’s chicken. Although I deviated from my system of eating, I still maintained my way of eating moderately and in smaller amounts.
Also, since been sick (and I have recovered almost completely from it) I simply haven’t had the time or energy to make my ideal meals.
I’ve also been drinking a few Starbucks Mochas.
Anyway, back on track to try it today.
