04.15.2013 “Tax Day Edition”

“The hardest thing to understand in the world is the income tax.”Albert Einstein

. . . .

So, I hope everyone has done their taxes by now. Today is the deadline, but of course, people can file for an extension.

In the past few years, I’ve actually did my taxes very early, then did an ammendment or two as certain investment tax docs came in. It’s been a hassle, but a necessary one at that. So next year I’ll have to wait until all the investment stuff comes in, which I’m not at all surprised that it comes in late every year.

As far as food goes, however, I know my diet hasn’t been the most ideal these past few days. When I travel I tend to fall into some bad habits, but at the same time I’ve been eating very well… grazing, eating several smaller meals a day, and not going into a food coma. For that, I pat myself on the back!

And I am resorting to eating leftovers from dining out at Chinese restaurants lately. This is good, because I don’t eat everything in site and opt to just eat enough at each meal to satisfy me and not get full. So, there will be leftovers for the following day.
