04.16.2013 “Tribute to the Fallen”

Today’s music playlist is dedicated to the victims of the Boston Marathon bombings. My thoughts and prayers go out to the three victims who died and the more than 100+ victims injured in the attacks.

Although the elite marathon runners finished the race some two hours before the bombing attacks occurred, the race was halted once the attacks occurred, causing mass confusion and panic as police, first responders and volunteers helped the injured. There was no awards ceremony and there were no traditional parties and celebrations following this tragic event.

Like many out there, my heart is heavy with sadness at this tragedy. May we find a way to somehow get past this and may the FBI and others investigating this case find the perpetrators and bring them to justice.
