So, everyone fails at something, and I sure did these past couple of days.
What I noticed with myself is that once I am put into an entirely different situation where I’m out-of-town for a few days, then I fall off whatever good routine I’ve set up.
I most confess that when things are consistent, it’s easy to maintain healthy eating habits. I learned this while on the road with bands. It’s kinda hard to eat right and you have to go with the flow, and if most of the band wants to go to Denny’s, and there’s no other choice for miles, then you go. Or not.
I do need to find ways to adapt better when things suddenly change.
Yesterday, I had a couple of bowls of spaghetti. For some that’s not healthy, while others thing that’s a decent meal. Well, I sort of fallen off the Japanese diet.
Today, I had some taco-flavored tortilla chips. Definitely a bad choice! But I’m noting it down, and keeping myself honest.

Late Morning – 11:30am
Tortilla Chips ~ taco-flavored, 1/2 large bag
Dark Chocolate Soy Milk ~ 1 shot
Lunch – 1pm
Ramen ~ 1/2 packet, with broccoli florets
Coffee ~ 1 cup, “Columbia Supremo” (Trader Joe’s)
