I have outlined and included my notes for what I’ve called The Zen Diet.

Yesterday was a fairly good day. I was able to get to the Japanese Market and purchase some quality sushi and other assorted Japanese foods… seafood, like salmon and mackerel.

Today I have to include an early, early meal that was taken “technically” early this morning after 12 midnight.

Early Breakfast – 1am

Nigiri Sushi ~ 3 pieces (2 salmon, 1 tuna)
Shrimp Dumpling ~ 1 piece, small
Miso Soup ~ 1 cup
Peppermint Tea ~ 1 cup
Water – 1 cup

Breakfast – 8am

Starbucks Mocha ~ tall, with whip

Mid-Morning – 10:30am

Oatmeal ~ 1/3 oats, 1/2 water, with bananas and raw sugar
Decaf Coffee ~ espresso roast, 1 cup

Lunch – 12:30pm

A rice-less lunch.

Salmon Sashimi ~ 6 small pieces
Broccoli ~ steamed, 4 large florets
Asian Pear ~ 1/4, diced
Miso Soup ~ 1 cup
Green Tea ~ 1 cup

Afternoon Tea – 4pm

Nigiri Sushi ~ 2 pieces, maguro
Broccoli ~ steamed, 4 large florets
Asian Pear ~ 1/4, diced
Miso Soup ~ 1 cup
Earl Grey Tea ~ 1 cup

Dinner – 8pm

Teriyaki Salmon ~ 1 oz
Shrimp Dumpling ~ 1 piece, small
Tamagoyaki ~ 4, 3/4 in pieces
Broccoli ~ equiv. 4 large florets
Asian Pear ~ 1/4, diced
Miso Soup ~ 1 cup
Peppermint Tea ~ 1 cup
