Today looks like it’s going to be a beautiful day in Southern California. And, it looks like it’s going to be a beautiful weekend, just in time for Mother’s Day.

Yesterday’s food intake was obviously not ideal, but the good thing was that I emphasized eating half of everything and saving it for later.

I just need to follow up with a more ideal day today. I’m craving some good quality sushi right now, so hopefully I’ll get to the Japanese Market later today.

I definitely need to avoid any starchy foods for the next few days to help keep the triglyceride levels down (I wish I could do a blood test every week).

Anyway, I’ve been on the road the past few days and I’m going home today, so I’ll be able to have more precise control over my diet.

Cafe Mocha ~ venti, 1/2

Lunch – 1pm

Shanghai Shrimp Lumpia ~ 7 pc, small
Water ~ 1 bottle

Afternoon Tea – 4pm

Chicken Wings ~ 2, small
Clam Chowder ~ 1 cup, small
Water ~ 2 glasses, iced

Dinner – 8pm

Saba (mackerel) ~ 2 oz
Broccoli ~ equiv 4 large florets, steamed
Miso Soup ~ 1 cup
Asian Pear ~ 1/4, diced
Chamomile Tea ~ 1 cup

Late Evening – 10pm

Dark Chocolate Truffles ~ 2 pc
Water ~ 1 glass
