dividing my yoga time

I’m glad I was able to return to my Yoga routine after a few days off because of the muscle pull. So, the past few days have been very nice. I’m starting to come back to the old, familiar routine of doing sun salutations, spinal twists and headstands.

But, I’ve been busy with regular daily activities that are trying to get in the way of Yoga practice. One solution I’ve been doing is to divide the yoga time. If I can’t do a full hour in a day, I’ll divide it up into 1/2 hour increments. It’s not as fulfilling as a 2 hour routine, but it’s generally just as effective to me, I’ve found out. As long as I’m doing Yoga everyday and not skipping a day simply because I have no time to do a full hour to two hours, then I’m okay for the day.

Then, it’s just a matter of observing those “moon days” in which I’m supposed avoid Yoga altogether. So, better check the calendar.
