Hello Kitty In New York

One of my favorite photos taken in New York is that of the Hello Kitty store near Times Square.
The store is located on 42nd street near the Westin Hotel, where we stayed on the corner of 8th and 42nd street. New York’s Time Square was just one long block away.

Ya know, I’ve been to NYC quite a few times but have never seen that Hello Kitty.
it’s actually right across the street from The Lion King musical. I’ve heard from others that they really cleaned up that part of New York. Perhaps because of Beauty and the Beast and The Lion King, there just seemed to be a lot of families there near Time Square, where before I heard they used to have Stripper Bars and Peep Shows.
