daily routines
March 26, 2005 by randomguru
Ever since the trip to Las Vegas, my daily routine has somewhat been disrupted, leaving me a bit disorganized for much of the week.
Thankfully, I was able to get back into my yoga routine the past few days, and had a nice 90 minute yoga session this morning. Afterwards I felt totally rejuvenated which helped me get through the day so far.
It’s frustrating how holidays can turn people into mad, crazed lunatics at parking lots and in department stores. Twice I almost had gotten into a car accident because someone didn’t notice the stop sign. I had the right of way, yes (I didn’t have a stop sign) but this one guy in a blue minivan just neglected to stop at his, and even when he saw me he figured, “well, I’m this far into the intersection, might as well go on through”!
Evil, evil people…
And I was searching for a parking spot when I found one, and as I was waiting for the car to pull out of its parking space, another driver was backing out on my right side. If I didn’t honk my horn, this person would’ve plowed into me!
*sigh* Some people just always seem too preoccupied with themselves during holidays. They just need to chill… like, totally!
Anyways, I think this weekend is the time when I will get back into my usual routines that keep me going and keep me focused. There’s a lot on my mind, a lot of PHP programming to do, and it’s good to get back into the yoga routine and I just need to get back out there and run some miles… plus really get back to practicing piano and drums to maintain my current level of playing and hopefully improve and get better.
The days move so quickly. I’m working off of my “todo” list and trying to keep as busy as possible. Things have been slow, music-wise these past few weeks, but in April things will start to pick up again. Just want to be ready physically and mentally for that.
