My Computer Workstation

April 9, 2005 by randomguru

my home away from home is rbj!Just a photo of my usual place at home where I work on the computer.

My current read is google hacking (for penetration testers), and the “penetration testers” ditty really cracks me up. There is a DELL mouse pad (how ironic) with wireless mouse, and a Sony speaker thingy on the left.

Current music listening: incidental music from the movies “sense and sensibility”, “breakfast at tiffany’s”, and “e.t. - the extra-terrestrial”, some Dinah Shore, Ella Fitzgerald, and various new age, classical, and jazz favorites (yes, a jazz musician can also like new age).

Below the glass table is my black Targus backpack for taking the laptop on the road.

I like to keep a special notepad for scribbling things down, something that doesn’t involve typing on the computer for a change, and a place where I can easily draw and make little diagrams, etc.

I’m currently reading “yoga journal” and “mac addict” magazines, so I always try to keep those close by. And my current workstation location is in the kitchen area… a place close to… food!

Welcome to my gateway into cyberspace.

tyler: i was looking at previous journal layout on other browsers/computers lately and it looked like a mess. i was messing with and
sort of became frustrated. this new ‘fastrack’ layout is pretty clean on most browsers/platforms, so i’m going to tweak this one for now.

i’ll post some entries about my ‘google hacking’ experiences.
