with its textures
and patterns
with warmth for sunlight
and touch for sight
at times helpless
yet acute and alert
visions
within my mind
fueling my imagination
an essence
a tranquil state
the sunlight on
the hardwood floors
the warmth
on my face
while lying on
the beach
a light breeze
against my face
a long summer day
elegant colours
and textures against
a backdrop of clear
blue sky
the horizon
a setting sun
the last star that
twinkles before sunrise….
