fairbanks ranch country club
September 17th, 2005The gig last night at the Fairbanks Ranch Country Club was great! A lot of fun and the theme was the 1950’s, 60’s and 70’s. I dressed up in a 1950’s Hardrock Cafe Rock n Roll bowling shirt with jeans cuffed, white socks and sneakers. And tried to slick my hair back with “grease”, but I didn’t think that went over well.
The big band has been changing repertoire from swing and big band music to Top40, which I don’t mind at all. It’s still fun music and it connects with more people. After all, variety is the spice of life.
