i never touch the rice, even at parties. it's okay because i've forgotten what the tastes like. ;)

but don't worry about me regarding the protein. i am eating a big variety of fruits and vegetables so i'm getting lots of different amino acids from the various foods to probably get enough complete protein. plus nuts have a lot of protein, but i don't eat so much of that because of the fat content.

i'm not 100% raw foods though... the only grains i eat are "sprouted" 7-grain bread, and i eat some tofu.
i'd say i'm between 80-90% raw foods though.

i bought this book called "raw food real world" by two chefs who live in NYC and have a raw foods restaurant called "<a href="http://www.purefoodandwine.com/">pure food and wine</a>". you should check it out, although it seems expensive.

anyways, someday we'll have to have a jam session.

lemon, ginger, honey tea always made me feel better. maybe it'll help your sons? i guess any fluids is the way to go. flush that flu out!

i'm happy to hear you're performing so much! i want to perform, let's jam together whenever it is i'll ever go to the west coast.

are you eating some kind of protein? you should eat some tofu (raw is good too with a splash of soysauce, sesame oil), chick peas... do you eat hummus? i'm worried about your protein intake because raw foods can be hard to include that.

*bows my head in shame* i've actually went slightly away from my raw foods diet and man it really shows. i'm tired, headaches and i'm not very focused at all. *sigh* i'm sure i'll get back into it.....

yeah i understand about being broke after a trip :) it's totally worth it though! i've been looking for change here and there for my soy mochas too! i thought i was the only one who ever order those! hehe

do you eat rice? probably not right?? mmmm rice.... hehe

take care carlos!

awww hope both your sons get better soon. i've forgotten how debilitating the flu can be until i recently caught it too ~ hope you manage to stay well. popping a lotta echinacea and vitamin c tablets have helped me in the past to keep the flu away. it might help you too =)
