Tonight’s Gig: Solo Piano at Bistro 221 - 5pm to 8:30pm.
. . . .
I’ve been playing piano since age 5, and here’s a photo of me at my first piano recital in Bremerton, Washington at age 6 or 7. Well, I spent 1st and 2nd grades in Washington.
I found the photo while browsing through some old entries. It’s really neat to look back at old entries to see where one has been in the past, or had done. I found some really memorable journal entries from my Big Time Operator days:
Had some really great gigs as a musician.
And had some not-so-great gigs as well!
There was a day when the band’s “school bus” caught on fire, and we were stranded in the desert.
I performed at Barbara Sinatra’s tribute event to honor the late, great Frank Sinatra.
Remembering that 1999 was not a good year for me. And May 20, 1999 was not a good day!
And I’ve had moments where I’d felt utterly inept.
But I’ve had some nice moments as well…
And the journey continues…..

Hello Carlos : )
I was reading your entry “An End And A Beginning” from you Sanctuary site.
I thought it was very gracious the way you handle the situation. Some of the other entries I cannot read do to bandwidth. P.S. The photo of you is adorable. The red shocks just make me smile : )

[...] As I am writing now about past journal entries, I chanced upon an entry that looked back on prior entries, now a sort of chain has begun. [...]
