[ another early birthday present ]

I got my old cellphone around 4 years ago, entry here.

This one came from my lovely wife… who probably felt sorry for me because I’d been carrying around my old, beat up cellphone for the past four years. I’m really happy with this new cellphone!

thank you… still trying to get used to it and the features. it takes decent pix, but it’s 640 x 800. still, resolution is good for what it is…. i have a different song for each family member and friend so far. :)

i’m teaching beethoven’s life and his sonatas… more like a analysis course and history. ewwwwww :)

Annie: that is excellent! Beethoven is definitely one of my heroes… a bonafied rockstar from his era. i need to study his sonatas more closely though. i love his “last” sonata a lot, even though i do love the more popular ones… “moonlight” “appassionata” “hammerklavier”

i don’t know any on the piano. well, barely know the slow movement to the “moonlight”.

okay, one of my goals in life is to finally learn a complete beethoven piano sonata. :)

i’m mainly doing jazz and standards on piano right now.

ooooooh thanks for the info. i don’t know what yim is but i did add you on my AIM. (iluvpajun)

i was telling my students the reason why beethoven life and sonata is not boring are for the following reasons:

      1. he’s on the cusp of classical and romantic so twice the fun
      2. he was a abused child
      3. he’s deaf
      4. he’s blind
      5. he’s crazy

what’s not to love?? hehe he’s not boring that’s for sure. :)
