Why should race define who we are as people anyway? I've been asked many times my ethnic background and when i've responded, i've gotten.. "Oh, you look Hawaiian to me" or "I thought you were Cambodian" or I even got "You look a bit Hispanic!" Oh well.. In your mind, I am whatever you want me to be, whether fact or fiction. I see race as part of me, but not who I am as a person. In the grand scheme of things, it's a small unimportant trait we define people by.
