cafe buenos aires

February 19, 2006 by randomguru

Just got back from Cafe Buenos Aires in Santa Barbara. It was my sis-in-law’s 50th birthday celebration, and it was a very nice time.

There was a very good quartet there that played sambas and latin-jazz… flute, piano, upright bass and drums. Afterward I talked with the band, and complemented them on their performance.

The food was very good… South American cuisine and I could only choose the shrimp curry dish (I gave all the shrimps to my wife) and it was interesting, different than the thai curry I’m used to getting at my favorite thai restaurant.

All in all, a very good time, but I really missed playing music.

Now I’m hanging out with my sons and nephews in a Holiday Inn somewhere in Goleta.
