lost piano

“If I were not a physicist, I would probably be a musician. I often think in music. I live my daydreams in music. I see my life in terms of music. … I get most joy in life out of music.”
—-Albert Einstein

I seem to have lost my inspiration for playing piano. It sort of makes me feel uneasy… because I haven’t touched a piano in weeks, literally. And it’s almost as if I’m afraid to touch one because I don’t know if I can play anymore…

As crazy as it seems, I’m at a point where I don’t really feel like playing… but, I just have to make myself… set up that keyboard and hook it up to my amplifier and just start playing some notes!

Well, it seems everything is a struggle right now… even my Yoga routine… it’s a constant struggle just to get myself to do piano and yoga, what’s up?

Anyway, I will try to practice some piano tonight, being that the big band rehearsal was cancelled. And I must do another Yoga routine tonight! Even if I have to do it while watching a DVD or the television!

it’s super normal carlos don’t worry. if you had it all the time then you wouldn’t have something passionate and original. everything would be boring if you could think of something to play all the time ;) i had a 3 hour lesson today and i’m EXHAUSTED and cranky. hehe i need some wedding tips from ya… whenever you have time :D

Pat: Well… a lot of people consider the BBC version the definitive version… but, yeah, people should open themselves up to the newer version, which i feel is just as good, just a different interpretation.
