I've taught myself to think that way after any argument with anyone. I'm not normally the one who makes a mistake (because when I know there is a chance I'll slip up, I avoid it altogether ;D), so I might as well be kind enough to empathize. But see, that's just <i>me</i> fixed. Like you said, there are plenty of people out there who realise these things too late, or never. So I make sure my journal is always overrun with lengthy, boring posts with underlying, but recklessly far from being discreet didactic lessons :D Did I sell it, did I sell it??
