plugin problems? weird code…

January 27th, 2007

Pat pointed out some weird code showing up on this site. If anyone else sees it, please let me know. It’s showing up on the top of the page, but I de-activated a few plugins that I thought were faulty for my current version of Wordpress, and I think that did the trick.

Anyway, I need to upgrade to 2.1. And hopefully my current plugins will be compatible.

Yeah it says something like this:
Warning: ob_start() [ref.outcontrol]: output handler ‘ob_gzhandler’ cannot be used after ‘URL-Rewriter’ in /home2/carlosru/public_html/wp-includes/functions.php on line 857

thanks, suki… *what the heck could that be?* ;)

i just added some new plugins so it has to be a compatibility prob with one of those.

Or, it just could have been my funky IE browser on my PC at work… I saw it there twice, but I suspect me…

It goes away when I refresh!

Same as Suki, if I click on your RSS link from my Google home page here at work, I see the Warning message, but if I refresh it cleans itself up!! hmmm

that is bizarre. problems is i activated quite a few new plugins recently.

i guess i could do a process of elimination. or perhaps upgrade to 2.1 and see what happens.

i’ll try upgrading to wordpress 2.1 first…. *crosses fingers*
