Is it my imagination, or is there somewhat of an epidemic out there?

My nephew was sick and didn’t go to school for 4 days. My niece was sick for 5 days! My youngest son was sick for 2 days last week, and had a relapse and has been sick again for another 2 days.

Plus, I’m reading on various people’s blogs that they have been or were sick with flu-like symptoms! Hmm… I have to watch out because I have a very busy week coming up, and can’t afford to call in sick. Working musicians (as far as I know) don’t get paid sick leave.

    I got hit by the bug a week ago last Sunday and I missed 3 days of work, and both daughters and Diane got it at the same time. Nasty cold symptoms but I feel 100% over it now. Yuk...
