walking through a screen door
March 15th, 2007Did I mention that last Saturday at the Pleazure re-union band rehearsal, I literally walked through a screen door?
Yes, I couldn’t quite believe it myself, but I actually didn’t notice that the screen door was closed, and walked full speed into it, got caught up in it like it was a mesh net, fell flat on my face, and this big steel pole almost fell on top of me!
I fortunately didn’t get hurt, and it’s just one of those things. I think I had my sunglasses on so I didn’t notice the screen door was closed. And I guess now I can look back and laugh at myself. It was truly pretty funny!
Did I think I had superpowers or something? Sheesh, I walked. through. a. screen door!
There’s a moral in this somewhere…
Look before you leap?

I have almost done that too, but I have seen a girl do that at my parent’s house a long time ago. She too was unhurt but the door was never the same! Glad you weren’t hurt!

that’s less painful than a glass door, right? lol.

suki: aye! glass door would’ve been much worse i think. possibly blood everywhere, and cuts and bruises.
screen door… i guess my pride was hurt, and it was pretty darn embarrassing.

LOL!!! That’s ok, Carlos. My friend’s mother walked right into a mirror once. It was funny.
