la toya london - all by myself

March 28th, 2007

And while we’re still on the subject of American Idol, I recall a certain showstopping performance by La Toya London back in Season 3, when she amazed the audience as well as the judges with her rendition of Eric Carmen’s “All By Myself”.

She seemed to be a favorite but sadly was eliminated and finished 4th place in the competition. But I’m glad to hear that she will star in The Broadway Musical, “The Color Purple”.

Oh , I remember loving her powerful voice. Personally, I preferred her singing over Fantasia’s. Oh well …

Even when the powerful/great singers are eliminated, someone’s seen them, so it’s great that they get the opportunities they deserve…

She was great wasn’t she. I bet she shines in TCP! When the heck is Sanjaya getting the dumpage he deserves?
