another programming job?
May 8th, 2007I got an offer to call someone for a PHP programming job. I’ve already had 3 interviews which led to no offers, and already I’m afraid of rejection. But I know if I don’t call it’ll be a missed opportunity…

Update: I have an interview tomorrow at 10am. So, wish me luck. Pray for me. :)

Pat has this article called The Secrets and envisioning things you want. Maybe you should give it a shot and will yourself into getting the job. :D It might work, if it is just a matter of luck, because ability wise, we know you are good. There’s no doubt about it. And if I was hiring you would have that job in a snap! I’ve met PHP programmers writing software for Shinkasens (the bullet trains) who seem to know much less! Makes one think about the safety of the bullet train!
All said and done, you have my prayers, and our bestest wishes. I hope you get the job!

how does one know if the interview went well? it was an agency, and i interviewed with a recruiter who said he’ll recommend me to a client, and will help prepare me for the interview. he said he’ll call me.

Good point Carlos, I guess the only way you really know how it went is if you leave the interview with an offer in your hands! Hope they call back soon… ;-)
