OMG, thank you YouTube for making it possible to find old footage of great singers, in this case Gladys Knight and the Pips (from a 1974 Live Concert) singing, “You’re The Best Thing That Ever Happened To Me”!

Such a beautiful singer and person through and through…

And getting back to 2007 when the Top 6 Girls from American Idol Season 6 sang a wonderful medley with Gladys Knight! Notice that Melinda Doolittle is the one who :announces” Gladys Knight, and was the first girl Gladys Knight hugged? Hmm… I wonder if that means anything. *whistles*
