Stravinsky: Firebird Suite

In the previous “music meme” entry, I left out a big, BIG part of my music appreciation for classical music. And Igor Stravinsky’s music has been right up there at the top of my list of favorite concert music.
On youtube there is a nice Documentary on the Life of Igor Stravinsky.
Of all Stravinsky’s compositions, the one that is a beloved favorite of mine is The Firebird Suite. And below you’ll find two prominent movements. The fiery Infernal Dance movement, and the crescendo-ing Finale!
