joni mitchell - big yellow taxi

I’ve always been a fan of Joni Mitchell’s work. Her voice has always been distinct and original, and her songs and lyrics early on in her career showed a depth and maturity that seemed beyond her youth.

Big Yellow Taxi had always stuck in my mind in my own youth. I never quite understood it as a child but the melody was catchy and Joni Mitchell’s voice was so unique that it was memorable.

Okay, this is a nice diversion from the wildfires here in San Diego County. Reminiscing about old classic songs like this.
