The Zen of Raw Vegan Sushi
February 16th, 2008I recently took a few photos of what I [typically] eat as far as sushi goes. Below is my version of Raw Vegan Sushi. The only thing not raw here is the miso soup, but then again I’m not 100% raw vegan just yet. I tried in the past but it’s too hard for me, especially when the weather is cold.
Ingredients for the Raw Vegan Sushi Rolls:
Dried Organic Nori Sheet
Avocado Slices
Radish Sprouts
Spinach
Cucumber
…and a touch of simplicity!
I cheat a little by using veganaise to hold the rolls together. Veganaise is a vegan version of mayonaise, so it’s not really “raw”.
This tastes extremely good to me, and I’m not missing the sushi rice, believe it or not. It also tastes very clean, and heathy. A good clean energy boost
