That’s amazing that you were able to journey to Southern India. I don’t know if I will be able to journey to India or Tibet anytime soon, but… I’m probably closer to attaining a set of tabla drums than traveling abroad. so… that should bring me closer to India’s heart.

I loved reading this post, as I’m sure you know (since I consider myself Desi trapped in this American body). While I was reading your blog, my phone rang and it was Leela Mata, an Indian spiritual teacher, calling to talk! I thought it was fitting that she called at just that moment. ;-)

Perhaps we knew each other in another time. In the end, though, we are all connected and one. ;-)

I hope one day you travel to the places you are drawn, and that you feel at home on a very deep level (this happened to me in Southern India).
