Ghost Stories
So, the other night on Larry King Live, he had a show entitled, “Do You Believe in Ghosts?”. It was an interesting television program.
I spent some time earlier this afternoon browsing through books at Borders, and for some odd reason I decided to peruse through all of the ghost books they had available.
Halloween is coming up fast, and I’d been thinking about supernatural and scary things lately. It’s interesting to read what others have experienced, and it just seems that everyone has a ghost story to tell. Read more

Successfully Installed!
I must confess I had my problems, which probably had more to do with my internal 100 gb hard disk drive being almost completely full.
Windows is Gone!
I had my old Windows XP installation and files on the old partition which took up three quarters of the drive. Ubuntu 9.4 “Jaunty Jackalope” on the other in a much smaller partition. This, I think (recently), has always been a problem. Read more

Are you a smoker trying to quit?
My father used to smoke every day. I was very sensitive to the smoke, but out of respect wouldn’t say anything, and tried to hide my coughs.
He developed high blood pressure and suffered a heart attack. I never tried smoking, though I was sometimes (reluctantly) a second-hand smoker. My Dad has since given up smoking and is living a much more healthier lifestyle. Read more

Jazzooty is a now defunct jazz-fusion group that I performed in way back in 1994-95. Members of the group included Nathan Mills (trumpet), Chris Morante (guitar, guitar synthesizer), Tom Bishop (contrabass, electric bass), and myself on drums and percussion.

Over at Rice Bowl Journals, people have been lamenting the fact that blogging seems to have lost its appeal.
While I’ve noticed that many blogs have either closed or have not been updated in months (in some cases, years), blogging still is a vital and active part of the World Wide Web.
My feeling is that…
- what we have now has been a process where the casual blogger, who was in it for the fad (or because it was the “in” thing at the time), have come and gone.
