Videos: Proof That Luck Does Exist

Wednesday, 21st October 2009

This post is dedicated to all the Luck that exists in the world. If you are fortunate enough to have been blessed with a bit of luck, then considered yourself… truly blessed. Today, I pay tribute to the lucky people who escaped the worst.

This man in Russia is lucky. Sprinting across the street, he then spots a runaway bus that’s out-of-control, and in a split second he pours on the speed to narrowly miss getting hit.

. . . .

The worst of parental fears were realized when a baby in a carriage rolls away from mommy and falls onto the train tracks, just as a train was coming into the station. Miraculously, the baby wasn’t seriously injured, with only minor bumps and bruises. And luckily, the baby was strapped in and protected by the carriage itself, as the train dragged the baby and carriage until it came to a complete stop.

Not just luck. This is a miracle!

. . . .

Now this could be considered pure luck, and a touching story.

The bank robber turns sympathetic after seeing the teller crying and begging the robber not to throw his life away. The two end up praying and hugging. The robber crying, he takes the one bullet from his gun and gives it to the teller. Then takes $20 and the teller’s cell phone, locks her in the restroom and takes off. Later, after his mother noticed him on TV, she convinced her son to turn himself in.

Okay, that this is lucky because the situation could’ve taken a turn for the worse. Luckily, it didn’t.

. . . .

And this post isn’t complete without a series of “close calls” that are just too close for comfort.

Could it have been divine intervention stepping in? Or maybe someone’s guardian angel was looking out for him/her? All I can say is that these people are proof that Luck does exist in the world. And that’s reassuring!
