How Fit is Fit, For Fitness Sake?
Okay, now don’t answer that question.
I figure if someone’s really fit they are a hard body or an Olympic swimmer or an elite marathon runner.
The more I think about those standards, the more I consider myself far from being fit. And, I definitely have a ways to go before get really toned and getting back to my ideal body weight.
But, believe me, I’m trying.
And right now my right knee has been agravated from all the work around the house that I’ve been doing, plus the spot exercises. I was planning on getting back into walking and hiking in a big way, and I DID go on a few hikes on Mt. Rubidoux. But, when I tweaked my right knee, I knew I had to rest it rather than work through the pain.
So, here’s the paltry workout routine I’ve been doing just to maintain any sort of fitness. The fact that I’m doing this everyday is a start, and I just need to build up on what I’ve got going so far, along with my current method of eating my food.

100 – Jump Rope repetitions
025 – Jumping Jacks
025 – Crunches
025 – Squats (being careful not to tweat the right knee)
025 – Push Ups (inclined)
Note: It’s hard to keep track of hard work around the house, and although it’s a process of expending lots of calories, I don’t know yet how I’m going to keep track of it.
