D5: Reasons to Go Easy with the #Juicing during #Detox
Juicing can be a powerful addition to a healthy diet, but from my experience you have to ease into it.
For one, fruit juices CAN be harmful to your health.
And I don’t care what anyone says, it really depends on the person’s dietary history and overall health going into juicing.
My advice to anyone who’s starting with juicing for the first time?
Transition slowly into it. Perhaps start by doing shots of vegetable & fruit juice. And by shots, I mean those little small glasses normally used for Bourbon and Whiskey.
And buy organic fruits and vegetables for juicing.
Needless to say, you have to make sure your protein requirements are met somehow.
Today’s Food Intake

Raw Cacao Smoothie ~ 1 banana, 1 tbsp cacao powder, 3/4 cup raw walnut milk, a tiny bit of agave nectar, 14 ice cubes
Coffee ~ 1 cup, the usual (Trader Joe’s “Columbia Supremo”)
Spinach Salad ~ small, with spinach, raw almonds, onion, tomato, avocado, balsamic vinegar & olive oil
Raw-Vegan Sandwich ~ sprouted bread, onion, tomato, veganaise, avocado, greens, herbs
Trader Joe’s Coffee Ice Cream
3 Slices of Filippi’s Pizza
2 Glasses of Iced Water
