D13: Going Deeper into the #DetoxDiet with More #GreenSmoothies

One thing I always start noticing is the energy boost when going on a detox diet, once I get passed the transition phase.

Also, I think my complexion is beginning to clear up a bit.

I believe what helps the complexion is the addition of aloe vera juice and cucumber to the Green Smoothies. As a matter of fact I’m pretty sold on that. I’ve been through several detox diets, and if you want to clear your complexion and make it “glow”, the organic raw fruits and vegetables will do the trick, but especially the addition of the aloe vera and cucumber. It really clears the complexion from the inside out.

Here Comes The Energy Boost

The energy boost is insane when beginning daily infusions of Green Smoothies. And there have been days when I’d sleep late and wake up early, and still feel refreshed and rested. The reason I think this occurs is because of the “healing effects” of the greens, which is very “alkaline” which is very beneficial to the body, healthwise.

I think that if anyone did a 30 day challenge where s/he just drank one Green Smoothie a day, his/her health and well-being would greatly improve.

Feeling the Liquid Sunshine!

The effects of a Green Smoothie can not be ignored.

People have referred to Green Smoothies as “liquid sunshine” and that might be literally true. Raw greens are still alive with chlorophyll and photosynthesis captures the sunlight and converts it to pure energy.

Chlorophyll – a green pigment, present in all green plants and in cyanobacteria, responsible for the absorption of light to provide energy for photosynthesis. Its molecule contains a magnesium atom held in a porphyrin ring.
