Another Great Brunch at The Cottage La Jolla!

Another Great Brunch at The Cottage La Jolla!

I’ll let the photos speak for themselves, so let’s just say we had another great brunch at The Cottage in La Jolla.

We were celebrating our oldest son’s birthday, and I was pleasantly surprised to find that there is a whole section of Vegan choices on their menu! Awesome!

I like the fact that my meat eating friends and family can enjoy a healthy and hearty breakfast, while I can still enjoy some great Vegan breakfast choices without feeling out-of-place or left out.

I had the Vegan Hash plate this time, which included two taco shell bowls with black beans, diced tomatoes, onions, avocado, diced potatoes. Also included was a small fruit plate with cantalope, watermelon, grapes, berries and an orange slice. I also ordered the Mexican Mocha with soy milk and no whipped cream. All in all, it was an excellent, refreshing brunch in a very nice dining establishment with great ambience and outside dining.

The only drawback?

They don’t take reservations and the wait can be 30 minutes to an hour, but people are still coming in droves to eat here, so it speaks volumes for the value and quality of their food.
