Chocolate Infusion and Starbucks 16oz Insulated Acrylic Tumblers

Over the weekend, I picked up one of those Starbucks Acrylic Tumblers (also called “To Go Cups”). And I’m really happy I did.

Now if you know me, you know that for years I was addicted to Starbucks Mochas… but on occasion I will still grab a tall soy mocha if I’m on the go. But, for the most part I’m devoted to my 100% Raw Cacao-Banana Smoothies, and that’s where this Starbucks tumbler comes in handy.

So now I can make my raw cacao smoothies at home and pour them into this Starbucks tumbler, like below…

I’ve also been making raw chocolate shakes with Amazing Grass’s “Chocolate Infusion” powder. This is basically a raw organic cacao powder with wheatgrass and other superfoods in it.

Any time you can take the opportunity to use re-usable beverage containers, it’s helping the environment by not using the throw-away containers. Even then, the cardboard sleeves are recyclable, though the plastic-coated paper cups aren’t.

But for me, using those Starbucks 16oz Insulated Acrylic Tumblers kind of satisfies that trip to the local Starbuck Coffee shop, yet I’m getting a much healthier drink inside.
