Coinbase, Government Shutdown, Macbook Pro

Well well… it’s going to be an interesting Friday, with another government shutdown looming on the federal horizon.

The White House has issued a statement that basically this will be a modified shutdown, but this means that federal workers will be required to go to work without pay. Hmmm…

Note: I’m watching the stock market for when the government shutdown becomes reality, then see if stocks go down and take advantage of buying opportunities.

Meanwhile, Bitcoin has been dropping to the tune of more than 30% in the past month, and there are rumors that Bitcoin is on its way down. If this is the case then we have a definite pump and dump scenario on our hands. And those poor investors who got in at the top at around $15,000 or above could be in trouble.

Note: Google ‘greater fool theory’.

In other news, I finally stepped up and bought a 15″ MacBook Pro yesterday, and officially started active trading this morning. So far, it’s been a dream. I definitely needed the faster computing power and a laptop that doesn’t shutdown every-once-in-a-while.

You can see my new MacBook Pro in action in the photo above, utilizing the Think or Swim trading platform.
