Ethereal Blue by Carlos Rull: More on the Ambient Side

On Thanksgiving Day, I launched my first ever digital album on iTunes!

I’m very excited about this project, and it’s secretly been my main project going on at the “home recording studio”.

It’s more on the Ambient side as far as an identifiable musical genre, but I don’t really care how my music is identified.

Ethereal Blue

I already posted a lengthy status update on Facebook about the album, and I’ll repeat it here:

the bad news: my car broke down again! after thanksgiving dinner, with family!

the good news: on thanksgiving day i launched my new album, Ethereal Blue, on itunes.

there is a long story behind the album cover photo… i have always been fascinated by the sky, and i have a collection of “sky photos” on Flickr.

one of my oldest and dearest online friends (and an amazing author, by the way) once dubbed me the “Skywatcher Hedgie”.

one of my all-time favorite songs is “Keep Your Head to the Sky” by Earth, Wind & Fire… just one of several EWF songs which i used to perform with an amazing dance band from my high school years.

and in the past, relatives have “commented” that i like to take photos of the sky instead of people. so…

Ethereal Blue signifies the blue sky over our heads on a quiet, breezy and sunny afternoon, filled with a few puffs of white clouds and rays of sunshine cascading on the childhood memories of our minds…

and now you know… that i always keep my head to the sky…

If you are a friend or relative of mine, or just want to lend some support; please check out the album (samples above) and help a musical artist out.

If you don’t buy the album or any of the tracks, please help promote the album on Twitter and Facebook.

Thanks in advance for the support…
