Facebook Makes Security and Privacy Features Easy to Find

I RECENTLY POSTED A TUTORIAL on how to hide the Friends List on Facebook.

And I was planning on doing a quick tutorial on how to manage your privacy and security settings. Surprisingly, not everyone knows about this, or they just haven’t taken the time to look for it. But now Facebook once again has changed things in their efforts to make things easier for its users.

Now Facebook offers a “padlock” button that pulls down some options to change your privacy settings. And, I think this is good because it makes it very clear as to where you can access these privacy settings, which obviously is a big issue on Facebook.

Facebook’s New Privacy Button

Facebook’s new privacy button is located in the upper right corner.

Simply select (from the pull down menu) the privacy features you wish to change.
