Support My Cause
By the way, if you have a facebook account, please consider becoming a fan on my new music page.
My personal Facebook profile is hidden from public view, and only friends can see it.
The big advantage of having a “facebook page” is that it’s public and made searchable. And you can choose settings for a page that is compatible for musicians.
I did away with my music page at MySpace a while ago. I simply wasn’t happy with the format and look of MySpace pages, and just the overall interface. Being that I like Facebook’s interface more, I just transferred my music page to Facebook.
Anyway, please become a fan….
. . . .
I’ve been a musician for most of my life, and started getting paid as a musician at around age 15? I think that’s right.
Anyway, I’ve always had a dream to be a successful musical artist. I guess you could say I’m successful, given my talent and level of musicianship.
But, to me, it’s a constant struggle to maintain and better myself musically. And, success-wise, I’m not selling millions of albums or considered a world class jazz artist. That is where I want to be. I’d like to think there is much more in store for me.
And even at my age, I haven’t given up the dream, though the older one gets chronologically, perhaps the harder it becomes. Youth always has an advantage, but experience and refinement do too.
Recording solo piano improvisations at home. Creating more than one CD of piano solos, some meditative in nature. Music that can be considered meditative and healing.
Once I get a good system working, I will be able to churn out album after album… at least that’s the conceptual idea. Then sell my music online.
And I want to be able to really find a venue or two where I can perform live.
I have to keep striving. I can’t give up at this point.
