Friday, June 29, 2018: From Triple Digit DOW to Modest Rally

Well, It WAS a Great Rally…

DOW +55.36—-NASDAQ +6.62—-SP500 +2.06—-NYSE +28.27

Portfolio Winners: BA, CISCO, GOOG
Portfolio Losers: BGS, ISRG, NFLX

What started out as a great rally fizzled out into a modest rally, not really a BANG to end the month of June, but let’s hope there is some fireworks in July.

High volatility CAN be good, but at the same time it could be highly unpredictable. And one thing’s for sure, this stock market under the current administration is struggling. And quite possibly we could be headed for another market correction.

We’ll see…

Watching: FB, NFLX, TSLA, WWE, BJRI

Today’s Portfolio Winners

Boeing (BA)

Let’s hope this stock bounces back soon. It’s a big enough company that it can affect much of the stock market. June was a terrible month for BA.

Cisco (CSCO)

Tech Stocks did so well earlier in the month of June, then floundered.

Alphabet (GOOG)

A highly volatile stock which has great ratings. Even though it did terribly toward the end of June, I’m holding long.
