Hate

There is so much hate out there. At times I just feel sadness because those that hate are the victims of their own hatred. Yes, they might unleash it on others as a means to try and release that hatred, but in the end, it doesn’t alleviate their suffering.

They will continue to hate as long as they are hateful and refuse to change their way of thinking.

The more I think about it, hatred is based on ignorance, because if you had true knowledge and wisdom you wouldn’t be in that predicament.

One would have a change of heart.

But on the other end of the spectrum is Love.

I’m talking about true, unconditional love. Love that has no boundaries and is invincible. Unconditional love isn’t based upon the notion that if you love me I’ll love you back. And if you do something to offend me I’ll hate you instead of love you.

True love is unconditional because you just simply love without there being any conditions to love.

Unconditional love can be learned. A mother teaches her baby unconditional love by the simple act of loving unconditionally. There is no condition that requires one to prove that love. It is a pure selfless act of loving another person, no strings attached.

Just pure love.

But, hatred and love CAN also be tied to the food we eat.

I’m vegan, for instance, and my whole philosophy is based on kindness and civility.

I don’t know of any criminals out there who are vegan, come to think of it.

The meat eaters tend to be the criminals, so there must be something to the diet that affects how a man acts and what he’s feeling.

But I guess if you respect animals enough that you won’t eat them and wear their skins on our bodies and on our furniture, then us vegans are probably on the right path to love.

The ones who I have noticed are vegan are the artists, actors, thinkers and philosophers. These people have a tendency to be creative, and to build and protect and nourish our societies and people. Those that hate have a tendency to destroy and ruin those things that others created.

But true love is universal, and unconditional.

That is the best kind of Love.
