I’m on a good track for the New Year. I’ve been doing Yoga everyday for the past 3 days. And I don’t know why I quit before. It is an essential part of my Life.
Well actually, I never entirely quit. I have been practicing meditation and concentration. I’ve been practicing the universal moral code and ethics. I’ve been practicing my breathing (pranayama).
It’s just that I stopped doing the asanas.
But I’m on a good track now.
I can’t wait until I do Yoga again, but I have to be careful not to overdo it and get injured.
Along with Yoga, I’m swimming again and walking.
I’m very busy so far in 2017.
So let’s hope this keeps up and that Yoga is an essential part of my daily routine. The walking and swimming can be done a couple of times a week.
As a musician, Yoga is essential for tuning up the mind, body and spirit; getting it ready to play a tuned musical instrument, which would go hand-in-hand.
What’s important in Yoga is that it gives one the ability to have a more disciplined mind. If you’re trying to lose weight or get back on an exercise regimen like running, Yoga will help you keep focused and motivated.
