I’ve been slowly collecting Liquid Mind albums in my iTunes collection.
As many of you might already know, I am very much into Ambient Music, or music that is more affecting at a subliminal level. Some might consider it background music, but one has to explore the realm of music that is therapeutic or has some deeper positive influences.
Below is one of Chuck Wild‘s albums, Liquid Mind VII: Reflection.
As I continue with my piano explorations, I find myself more interested in music therapy. Or, music that will help someone like an older person with dementia or alzheimer’s.
It’s important for the musician to connect with his/her audience, and with Ambient Music, one connects on some deeper level.
This music, of course, requires further exploration. But, I am working on my own original music albums.
Liquid Mind VII: Reflection, is an elegantly produced album of music that is more ambient and subliminal. Wave after wave of synthesized sounds that take the listener on an ethereal musical journey. You can tell that a lot of sensitivity was taken with this approach to creating music. Musical tones suspend, then resolve with not real rhythmic pulse.
The music is perfect for meditation and contemplation. As well as for Yoga practice.
