Photography: The Most Intriguing Photos Ever Posted in the Zen Garden

I WAS GOING THROUGH MY ARCHIVES, when I stumbled upon an intriguing photo of Gary Wilson at The Knitting Factory in New York City.

I was thinking, “Wow! That’s a rather bizarre, yet cool photo!” And I just finished doing a gig with him, but it wasn’t one of his infamous shows. It was just a trio gig playing Jazz and Standards.

But, I’d say that’s probably the most intriguing photo I’ve ever posted in the Zen Garden. And I thought about searching for others that are some of the most interesting, intriguing photos here. Here’s what I came up with, but if you find a photo that should be added, let me know!

Gary Wilson @ The Knitting Factory, New York City

I've worked with Gary Wilson for almost 15 years now, and for many of those years I didn't know he had an OTHER side to him... another persona!

Yoga Master Srimat Kuladananda Brahmachary

Yoga Master Srimat Kuladananda Brahmachary

I've always been intrigued by this photo, a vintage photo of a true yoga master, with his discipline (who looks Christ-like). It reminds me that Yoga is really a spiritual practice (and much of the knowledge is handed down from master to disciple), and not something similar to Aerobics or Zoomba or Pilates at a gym.

Gwyneth Paltrow

I find this photo sexy intriguing because I don't normally think of Gwyneth Paltrow this way, with the bad girl look and the provocative outfit that shows quite a bit of skin.

Brad, Angelina and Me

Brad, Angelina and Me

Yes, this was obviously photoshopped. But this is pretty intriguing, right? Me, pretending to be a grown man adopted by Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie. Yes, wishful thinking but it could happen! I want them to adopt me so they can buy me the digital piano and tabla set I always dreamed of owning.

Angelina Jolie and the St. John Ad

This is very intriguing and beautiful at the same time. Need I say more?

Largest Swimming Pool in the World

This really blew my mind when I found out about this! Located at the San Alfonso del Mar resort at Algarrobo, Chile. Imagine swimming laps there? Totally intriguing!

My Niece At Dexter Gate in Harvard

This is a photo of my niece who just graduated from Harvard earlier this year. Somehow she was able to get a photo of her in front of Dexter Gate when she was 10 years old. And, another photo was taken when she was an entering Freshman. The two photos were superimposed and it is just a very cool photo! Very intriguing!

California Wildfires October 2007

In October of 2007, a series of wildfires burned across much of Southern California and over 1,500 homes were lost and thousands upon thousands of people were evacuated (including my family) from their homes. I remember my family seeking refuge at the Town and Country Hotel in Mission Valley. It was a terrible time, and easy I'd forgotten about this. But, perhaps my mind wanted to forget. This intriguing satellite photo of Southern California during that time is a clear reminder just how devastating these fires were.
