How to Play the Stock Market Under Trump
Let’s face it. Trump likes the spotlight! Even though he says he hates the fake news because they’re painting a negative picture of him, many of the reports are simply quoting every word he’s saying, and that’s not fake if it came from his own lips.
That said, he has made threatening comments about one thing or another, and claims he’s not racist but seems to have a hidden agenda on promoting white nationalists, et al. Here’s the thing. He made threats to shutdown the government if he can’t build the great wall, and the stock market tumbled today.
It also tumbled when he made his initial ‘many sides’ statement about the Charlottesville riots and the stock market fell after that and finally rallied back yesterday.
So, one can anticipate Trump next move and when he says something irrational or threatening, we can follow the stock market’s performance and how it reacts negatively, and possibly get into some stocks when the market is down.
I say this is one good strategy for playing the stock market under Trump, but don’t quote me on it.
Let’s just continue to watch the market and see how it reacts to whatever Trump says at rallies and press conferences.
