“I’m not crazy. My mother had me tested!”
“Ah, gravity. Thou art a heartless bitch.”
The above quotes are just a few of my favorites from Sheldon Cooper of The Big Bang Theory, my favorite and possible only show on television.
Those of you may already know that I own all 5 Seasons of The Big Bang Theory on DVD. Probably “Ghost Adventures” is my other favorite on TV but I wouldn’t go so far as to own any DVDs of the show if they had them available.
I guess TBBT is special for me, and I’m not alone in appreciating it since it is one of those sitcoms that consistently gets the highest ratings.
I started out by watching one of those reruns, which TBBT has many older episodes available on syndication.
One episode from late last year had 20 million viewers.
Anyway, I really don’t watch much TV other than watching the newest TBBT episodes that I record on the DVR.
I do like to watch a lot of movies when I can, either from my collection or through the mail via Blockbuster (yes, I’m still getting those), and also when I go out to the movies (which has been quite a bit, lately).
The latest movies I’ve seen in the movie theaters have been:
1. Les Miserables
2. Life of Pi
4. Zero Dark Thirty
5. Anna Karenina
7. Silver Linings Playbook
My wife and I save quite a bit by going to the very first showing which is around 10:30am on Saturdays and Sundays.
We also watch Django Unchained, but we shy away from watching ultra-violent movies at the movie theaters. But, I’m sure we’ll see that one when it comes out on DVD/Blu-ray.
