In the video below, Sadhguru talks about eating a Vegetarian Diet, and specifically raw fruits and vegetables to enhance one’s lifestyle.
Sadhguru talks about the detrimental affects of cooked foods, and that raw fruits and vegetables actually contain lots of enzymes and amino acids that are available to the body to create protein for the body.
Cooked foods, according to Sadhguru, diminishes protein intake, surprisingly.
Cows are vegetarian and they eat mostly grass and are big, muscular creatures.
The protein myth is something most of us were raised on, that we need to eat red meat and other animal products to gain more protein for our bodies.
In fact, more animal products will diminish calcium from the bones. That is why many people who eat a lot of animal products will develop osteoporosis and brittle bones later on in life.
