05.05.2013 “The Ring” Edition

Today’s entry is dedicated to Wagner and the Ring cycle.

So, hopefully I’ll be playing music from two operas of Wagner’s Ring Cycle, Das Rheingold and Die Walkure, which are the only two Wagner operas I have at the moment.

I’m not a big fan of Wagner, but the Ring cycle has always intrigued me, and I need to further study the music and its background.

By the way, I know it’s Cinco de Mayo today, so I will have to play something more appropriate for today as well.
