The Tennessee Waltz and When Irish Eyes Are Smiling

Yamaha Grand Piano

I’m trying to learn more traditional songs for my Wednesday piano gigs at the Memory Care Unit.

Here are my two new songs:

  • The Tennessee Waltz
  • When Irish Eyes Are Smiling

My focus has been on traditional songs that are sing-a-long type songs. And, the probability is high that the senior folks at Memory Care will know the songs.

Another song that is a hit is ‘Oh Danny Boy’.

And patriotic songs seem to be the most popular.

Probably the most popular on my set list is ‘(Somewhere) Over The Rainbow’.
